Marx Motor Problem
Posted by Diablobike on Saturday, December 29, 2012 1:01 AM

After running fine through Christmas, my Marx 10,005  engine has ceased to run. I pulled the motor, lubed it,  cleaned contacts, commutator,  and the e-unit.  Buzzing comes from the e-unit.  It is free and switching but wheels will not turn.  Any suggestions.

Thanks  -  Ted

If you did all of that, and the wheels are not binding, the E unit probably needs service.

I replaced the brushes - looked OK but -  It runs better than ever.

I think the title is a bit of an oxymoron, but I'm glad to hear you got it running
