Thought I'd start today's SPF off w/ a shot of the newly recommissioned Marx 999 w/ NYC 7" caboose.

It was the first run on the new HighLine Division of the Mt. Graham & Arizona Eastern

Here is my new signals I got thru ebay to a company in china there 12v DC so will run them off one of my dc transformers did find out playing around if the red or the yellow light is on ( or both) the green will not come on so I can wire the green for always on and when the red or the yello come on the green will go out so I need to set trips for the red and then the yellow  and this will be perfect will first show the back side then the front with no lights on then each color lit with a engine in it also my PRR by atlas

I thought they were price correctly at just $36.99 for the six of them or just about $6.17 each.

I haven't posted with Photbucket in a while and it seems they updated their site.  Here are some photos of my simple Christmas village layout and two new cars I recently purchased.  They are Lionel Reading passenger cars to go with the FA 2 Alco A-A engines I have.  I still need to find a few more of them.  The youngest child is also enjoying the train in one of the photos.

Great pictures as usual.  Here's my first contribution this week.  Picked up this AF 302 that was in pieces from a member here.  It still needs a few minor things, but I just haven't had the time lately.

Nice photos, Marx is a good way to start. And the flyer sounds of days gone by.

Nice photos today folks.

Who knew that there were that many leg lamps out there.  And to think we have folks on the thread who have earned major awards.  Wink

My contribution today documents getting the house decorated for Christmas.

Starting with a blank canvas.

Bringing in a solid base.

The tree goes up.

The lights go on.

The ornaments follow.

And then we have the additions that make all the effort worth it.  The train completes the tree.

All of the structures on the Christmas Carpet Line are by Skyline.  This is the first year that I have used them to make my Christmas village.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, and the opportunity to share time with your loved ones and play trains.

I have a little re-forrestation project currently under way.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

Nice photos everyone! Sorry that the HighLine Division was a little short on scenery!

Thanks for the video Jim. AF's chuffing sound is the best!

Joe, I really like the night scenes

I had to go back and look after reading about the leg lamps. Almost inhaled my coffee!

No worries RT.  I think I posted photos of the engines before.  I'm hoping to complete the entire set one day.

Northwoods Flyer - I really like those Skyline buildings.  I have the passenger platform as well but I have had a hard time finding the houses in good condition.

Joe

Merry Christmas to you and your family Joe.  I always enjoy hearing about the adventures you and your family are having.  Have you posted any photos of your under the tree layout?

The Skyline buildings can be a bit difficult to find in nice condition, but they do show up with some frequency on ebay.  I find that I have to do multiple searches for them because they are not always listed as being Skyline, unless the seller is knowledgeable about them or the paper label is still attached.

There is another line of lithographed tin houses that are smaller than the Skyline houses but will blend in with them, giving you a nice subdivision of homes.  They are produced by  H. & H. Sales & Mfg. Company, Pittsburgh PA.  There are 5 color variations of the house available.  Good Luck in your search.
