Kev,

Ya gotta go to YORK at least once. Toy Train overload will be experienced.

I didn't realize they dropped the sponsor requirements. Fife and 88 signed my application last spring

Mrs & I will be there in April if no conflicts present themselves

Kev,

Join and maybe we can meet up at York in the spring with some of the crew from the Coffee Pot.

The Train Collectors Association has updated its bylaws to open up membership.  A sponsor is no longer required to join the TCA.   You pay dues, serve your one year as a Probationary Member and then become a Full Member.   As a Probationary Member you can attend any of the 150 Train Shows put on by local TCA groups as well as the two YORK Shows.

In order to gain membership, that has been stalled at about 30,000, the Application Fee has been Waved until June 2013.  Just pay the first years dues!    You should Download the updated Application from the TCA National web page.

www.tcamembers.org       click on JOIN TCA at the bottom of the page, next page HOW TO JOIN, then

I wasn't aware that TCA changed that requirement.

I'll gladly be one of your sponsors, Kev. Wink

Do I need a sponsor to join the TCA or to get tickets to the York train shows?

I have the application form to become a member but it does not say anything about a sponsor but I thought I was told you needed two sponsors for something to do with the TCA or York?

Tks,

Kev
