i just picked one up on ebay for 6 dollars....i was going to cut it up and use it as a flat car..or repaint it into a cool looking barrel car....any harm in doing so? like it is not a rare car or anything

Slightly torn on this matter. This was part of a set Lionel made for K-Mart in the early 1990s. It was one of the last DC only sets and one of the few in the modern era entirely marked for Lionel Lines. Unless you have the rest of the set and the original minicars that went with it, it is not worth diddly. On the one hand, I would hate to see a rather unique car out of an interesting set destroyed. On the other hand, my daughter does own a set and everyone that is gone makes hers that more rare. Still, I doubt it would reach "Blue Comet" worth.

if it had the org. cars then maybe id care but it has like little micro machines monster trucks on it lol and a white canister instead of black....when i get it in the mail..ill take pics
