Lionel 027 Track wheel stops???
Posted by KRM on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 2:00 PM

Got a question for you.

I am looking for some rail-car wheel stops to use on my Gantry Crane rails but have not been able to find anything for O gauge track. Any ideas or suggestions?

I have seen them for HO and N but not O.

I am using Lionel 027 track.

 Thanks in advance.

Would like something that looks like this.

Could you bend some up using some wire.If the wire was large enough it could fit into the end of the track.

That is a good idea Harold. I may mess with that and see how it looks,

 Thanks.

Kev, What about building them with some Plastruct pieces ?

An "H" shaped piece for the base, a "U" shaped piece for the vertical support and some flat stock to make the web.

But be careful you don't superglue your fingers to it during assembly. Don't ask me how I learned that. Embarrassed Laugh

Doug, I will be thinking of something, I did get a line on some from the other forum but no comments on how they fit to Lionel 027 track. and one from Tomar is not the curved ones like I would prefer.
