My 25th Anniversary Issue arrived in yesterday's mail and it was AWESOME.
Great features, great articles!
I tried to complain about something (it's in my nature) but I couldn't find anything. All the aspects of the hobby seems to have at least a little somthing about them in the issue.
As a charter subscriber from some 25 years ago, I think the writing has gotten better and the reviews are more informative over the years.
Outstanding issue, Congradulations on both a stellar issue and just surviving and thriving for 25 years !

Congratulations on the first quarter century! I've loved them all!

Trains, trains, wonderful trains. The more you get, the more you toot!
Wonderful and most fitting to see David Smith's O-27 layout in this 25th Anniversary issue of the magazine. There's a great video of it in action on YouTube:

Great issue!

Question: In the article on the founding of CTT Dick never mentioned the Pre-CTT Holiday Issue that came out around a year before. It had a great article on how to detail O-27 track!
Jon
Just an OUTSTANDING issue. I have gone threw it at least three times and still want to pick it and read it again. Thank you.
Thanks

Jon,
These were one-shots (okay, two-shots) that were not directly tied into the concept that became CTT. The two issues published were intended to be a stand-alone intro to the hobby for Christmastime shoppers, rather than a title that featured in-depth coverage of old trains or collecting..
A few years back we (Kalmbach) published Model Trains Step-By-Step which was more of an evolution of the concept.

Holy cow you mean I got 25 years of those things, that's gotta be a fire hazard.
Congrats CTT

Oh yeah, forgot to mention: GREAT ISSUE! (But aren't they all?}
From Hirail to tinplate. You covered all the bases and did it very well. Great issue.

I love CTT and have all the issues. Also I have the two pre-CTT stand alone issues as well. Simply an outstanding magazine.
Congrats to all involved in putting together this great issue. It just keeps getting better.
As I said on the Coffee Pot, this was a great issue. I am really enjoying it. My congratulations to the Staff for a job WELL done.
Chuck
Big Congrats to Dave Smith on having his layout featured. (applause)
I've been a subscriber since the second issue.
This is the best in a long time.
Let's see more like it

Great Issue. Read it cover-to-cover.
Looking forward to the Lionel d-146 display layout feature coming up. I'm building a layout in my garage but don't have enough room on it for all my accessories. Maybe I could build a d-146 to display those accessories that'll still need a home.
At the end of the article on the Black Diamond Railway, it says you can go to the layout visit part of the web site to see a video. I can't find the video in that section. Could someone please point me in the right direction? thanks.
The video was slightly delayed in posting; it went up yesterday and you can watch it here. We hope you enjoy it!

Thanks,
It is a very good article in the magazine, and the video is a nice compliment.
