closer coupling for Lionel 16" aluminum passenger cars

I've found an easy and inexpensive way to reduce the space between cars from 1 3/8 " to less than 3/4" and add a fully functional diaphragm.  By swapping out the original couplers with Kadee scale sized couplers and adding diaphragms made from stryene plastic strike plates and polyurathane foam, the appearance is greatly improved and works on 042 curves.  Both changes are reversible to stock configuration.

Wish I could but am pretty computer ignorant.  I do have lots of photos and can send them thru my Picasa program and I do know how to senf them if I have an e-mail address - or if anyone can help me learn to post photos on this forum.
