If this is the number 50 gang car, the older version, there are no screws holding the in except for the brush plate screws. If you have remove these it should just pull apart. May be stuck in the Armature bearing at the bottom of hte car.   Good luck.

  If you mean to take off the field windings, the studs that the brushplate screw into can be unscrewed themselves to remove the field windings.

I need to completely tear down a gang car. I cannot figure out how to separate the motor from the chassis of the car. There are no more screws to take apart. Do the plastic "brakes" pop off Revealing a hidden screw.  The whole car needs washing so I need to get the motor assembly off.  Thanks.
