It’s hard to believe, but this week Spanky’s Cove has a Diesel come thru town. You know, I do own only a few of these.

It was pulling Coil Cars. Being a design engineer in the metal forming industry, this is something I see all the time. Coils of steel range in Cold rolled or Hot rolled steel, 0.020” to 0.50” thick, up to 72.0” wide and up to 40,000 lbs. each. One coil would fill a truck max weight, therefore, many times they are ship by rail.
