Williams scale GG1

Based on what everyone said, I decided to go for it and bought the Scale GG1 in Penn Central colors.

I have a few Williams locos, excellent running conventional locos. Great pullers and are built for endurance. Probably my only gripe is the true blast horn, sounds all right for a conventional horn just don't like the 4 blast RR crossing sequence.

Williams makes a fine product, less most of the bells and whistles of the more higher priced items.

I have two of their full scale locomotives that run like work horses, very similar to the trouble free, post WWII items.

I just purchased a williams 41799 gg1 pennsy and I love it. I had previously purchased

a williams nw2 switcher and it's great also. In my opinion williams is bulletproof and Trainworld is great for service also.

I just bought one of these trainworld had them on sale for like $189 I think it was. Anyway I have had a few williams engines and still have now and have not had a problem with any of them. I like my williams products other than the horn as its preset for a crossing blow and you can't change it. But my other engine I have already put in tmcc and traisounds and plan to put tmcc and railsounds 4 in this one.

I've been seriously considering buying one of these engines in the Penn Central livery. But before doing so I'd just like to know, Are they good runners? are they reliable? Hows the actual quality? I've never actually owned a Williams engine so I have no idea!
