Can anyone tell the size of the screw used to secure the shell to the chassis on the 8351 Lionel Alco?

Lionel supplement 1 calls it out as a 4-40x1/4" screw. May be a round head, Phillips screw like postwar, although postwar Alcos used a 4x1/4" round head self-tapping screw. Try the 4-40 first.
