USA made Lionel, Kughn era
Posted by John Richardson on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 2:16 PM

Hi,

Is anyone aware of books or online references to LTI or Kughn era products?  It looks like some nice USA made stuff was produced under his reign, and I'd like more information on these items.

Thanks,

John

Standard Catalog Of Lionel Trains, 1970-2000

Although out of stock at Amazon, there are affiliates HERE that are selling it for even less, including shipping.

I suggest looking for some of the old, out of print Greenberg books. They turn up on the secondary market from time to time. Some folks ask significant prices, I wouldn't pay more than $10-15 per book.

Hi John,

In 2002 Kalmbach Books published "Greenberg's Lionel Trains 1987-1995 Motive Power and Rolling Stock Richard Kughn Era".

This covers the period you are looking for.

Thanks, guys.  I ordered the above book, and should see it soon.
