From time to time, a track-geometry or other question comes up on the forum that depends on the Fastrack specifications. I don't use Fastrack; and my Internet searches have never turned up anything useful, other than that the standard length of a straight piece is 10 inches. So I bought a 6-12016 "terminal section" to measure. I'll post the numbers here for anyone who might need them:
The roadbed width is 3 11/32 inches. The railheads are about .64 inch above the table. The ounting-screw holes are .105 inch in diameter, but will take a flathead number-4 (.112 inch) screw with a little forcing. The Faston connector tabs are .125 inch wide. FE lists only one female connector for that unpopular size tab, 63705-1. It might be possible to force a .110-inch female on. Or, with a little Dremel work they could be cut down to .110 inch. However, a .187-inch female seems to work. The spade lugs on the other ends of the supplied cable will fit on a number-10 screw. However, the conductors are quite small, perhaps 20 AWG, and likely unsafe for more than about 4 amperes.
There is a post cast into the plastic under the longer pin at each end of the section, which is meant to snap into a slot at the next section's shorter pin. For no obvious reason, this post protrudes below the roadbed by about .008 inch.

The .008 is to allow water to run under the roadbed.
