I have to say you are an artist. I just love the detail and simplicity of your layout. Traditional post war Lionel, a simple 6014 boxcar, and yet done nicely to make yourself think you are there, and the picture is real. My one older brother is talented that way, and did the painting and scenery on our layout when we were all much younger. I wish we could have kept it going, but time and work took us all different directions. I just hauled out the last three tables that were at our parents house, and gave them to my nephew. Hopefully someday he will be able to incorporate them into part of his layout..he definitely has the space and room for it. Anyhow, enjoy your pictures, and wish I was there to run your trains..keep up the good work...Alan

Demay Frank53 - What kind of light did you attach to that small OGR flagstop building?

The light is an N Scale Street Light - I believe Model Power - come in packs of three. I removed the base, and bent the post to look like a wall mounted exterior light.
Gentlemen,
Thanks for posting such great photos.
Frank53 - What kind of light did you attach to that small OGR flagstop building? I have one of those and I have done a light weathering job on it. I will probably light the interior but never thought about an exterior light for it.

The 2380 GP9s are good engines for the price. I paid $125 for mine and it sounds and runs great. The flashing roof strobe is cool too.

Here is my 2380 and the other is actually a 2380 also but switched shells so its tmcc also now.
