Good Morning CTTFans!

It's 59F currently heading for  the high 70's as we make a slow march into 80's for the rest of the week.  Hoping to finally get in some Railfanning soon so need to get the camera equipment ready for the 2012 RRAdventures season.

Good morning. It's 65° and cloudy with fog. The high will be 88° and it will be partly cloudy.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing today. Internet service is acting weird this morning.  First it's fast then it's slow. Hope some idiot didn't try doing his own connection. It's happened out here before. I hope to get at least a little layout work in today. Ran some trains last night. The GP7's and GP9's got some mainline time as did the F units. I brought the GP38 and SD27J down off the display rack and ran them also.

Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.

A quick cup this morning before heading in.

Chief, glad they are doing that.  Good way to go and you wouldn't know if you don't ask.  I may do that if we build the three car garage with apartment for my dad...we shall see.

Gotta run.

Home again.  Watched TV and rested after working at the pond for an hour.  Was hot and humid with not breeze.  Showered and removed a "herd" of ticks.

Read back and see Jeffrey has been in the moonshine again. Whistling

Dennis, yes, met with Lowe's and they are doing that plus 12 months. Thumbs Up

Got walk with the elementary kids in the Main Street Park tomorrow morning.

You are right - prayers for all of us and for our loved ones and friends.  Esp for Jean and Doug for recovery.

Thought I posted last night, but guess I got distracted.  Chewy dislocated one of her knees somehow?  We didn't know what she did or how she did it, she was just limping when we were getting ready for bed?  Char took her to the vet this afternoon and he put the bones back in place, but said it might happen again.  She seems to be sore, but she is putting weight on it again, so guess all will be well now.

Guess we will be looking at more contractors for the wall as this guy did NOT send any references as I had requested.  We were going to get a couple more bids anyway, but I thought this guy seemed likely.  We'll see - I might email him and see if he just forgot.  We will get more bids though.

TARDIS is ready and I'm already wishing it was next weekend - work has been a killer the past week, trying to catch up from my trip and still hit my numbers by this coming Friday.  My monthly goal runs from one full week into the month to the next month plus 1 full week.  That's so people can get work done for the "current" month so we can review random samples.

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Good evening everyone.  Was a peaceful day with only a few cases. Some trauma to deal with, but all went well.  Our local news had two stories on home invaders who were both shot in separate incidences.  One guy got shot with a AR15... He was out gunned by the homeowner!

Will pray for Jean.  Lots of folks here and spouses with needs lately.  When it all comes down to it, each of us has need to lift up.  I really do pray for the folks here.  I know it works.

Got my MIL coming this weekend.  Bride has asked me to clear the table that we use as a project table off.  Sounds like I will be jumping on some scenery work and get it on the layout.  Sometimes I need a kick in the shorts to get motivated!

Chief, good luck with the box!  There are a number of things I would do differently if I had a clean slate to start with.

God bless,

Dennis

50 right now, it's been raining for several hours. I got The trim painting done, it really didn't take too long. Granny is cleaning our spare bed/put everything in there room and found some old photos. You guys with all your modern cameras will never get to enjoy that kind of memory. She even found my parents marriage license. Only one on chat last night was Brutus so we will see who shows tonight. No Banilla yet..S.J.

evening all not much to report tonight I'm off the next 2 days as this week this is my weekend. But did just realize that I'm off the next weekend and thats Mothers day weekend and payday so that works out goodBig Smile

Been reading the past few days just not posting a lot.

Will be around to catch a ride on the tardis tonight.

Since I have changed my eating habits my BS has dropped quite a bit which is good the doc will like the new readings. Use to be around 120 - 134 in the am when first got up and about 170 2 hrs after eating lunch/dinner new readings 83 - 93 when first get up and around 97 - 125 2 hours after eating. think if I keep this up he will be real happy with me. Especially seeing I'm both diabetic and a heart patient.

the trains are running fine so far lol since last repair job. guess I do need to look into turning my DASH-8 into tmcc was about to then some one said they wanted it and I didn't then never heard from him again even with 2 phone calls to his cell 1 asking just let me know if you don't want it so I know if I should go ahead with my plans to make it TMCC. ( first one was to tell him how much for shipping once I got it weighed and got a estimate on line to his location.)

Oh well another TMCC engine for me just not my normal road name but still a roadname I do like and it runs in that area now NS

Talk to  you all some more later have a good day.

Doug glad all went well and your back doing things.

We got rained on 5 times today...did I get much done?!?!?!?

NOOOOOOOO!!!!! http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_nutter.gif  http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_tantrum.gif

I'm not a happy camper..because the way the weather looks I might be doing the in and out thing through the week..which will mean that train time can be somewhat muted....http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/images/smiles/headbang.gif

So...anyhow, I'm off for the rest of the day to do some other stuff...in the basement...

Aloha. Grey and rainy. Working from home today. Realized I couldn't make it all the way to work. Ray, hope you are feeling better. Ulcer / stomach trouble is no fun. Jeffery, glad you are recovering from your fall. Kev, ooooh, that track incident sounds bad. Hope the little switchman doesn;t sue. I guess you just have to move that out of the way of the curve, right?  Mike C, I always think of what you might think of the episode's plot when watching my wife is watching Desperate Housewives - she;s been watching for so long, not sure what we'll substitute for it when it's over.

46 with lite rain.

Today I gotta paint the trim around the inside of the new windows, wish the had used prefinished wood.Oh well there's only three of them. A big train loss over the weekend, Local family owned garden mart had a fire that destroyed the year round Christmas store and the Lionel train layout. It has been a family owned farm since 1927 and the store was opened in the 1950s. Granny's fixing breakfast so happy Monday to you all...S.J.

Good morning. It's 69° and mostly cloudy with patchy fog. The high will be 88°, partly cloudy with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Nothing on the schedule today. I was thinking about doing a little layout work but putting my weight on my knee just once nixed that idea. The idea of just sitting back and watching some movies on the idiot box is looking rather appealing.

Good morning all,

It is warmer in SE Indiana with thunderstorms likely this afternoon.  Bad day at the races yesterday with both AJ's and Sarah's teams having lousy days.  "Once Upon a Time" was interesting and "Desperate Housewives" is a real head scratcher.  I had the regular fare on the dining car.  TBIL and I can drive.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Time for me to call it a night and limp back to the bedroom. No work on the layout today. I did run one train led by the Frankenstein F unit trio. As far as I know my father will be home tomorrow so he can take my mother to the places she needs to go to get new picture ID's made and get her missing credit cards and medical cards replaced. I know he's gonna have fun doing that. We know her purse wallet is in the house somewhere and it'll probably surface after everything in it is expired. See y'all tomorrow.

NTSB is at the house, Surprise

Seems the engineer who did the rearrangement of the tracks from 027 switches to 042 messed up. Confused

The yard look out house was moved to the middle of the outer loop and the new 042 spur. It seems all was well till The dispatcher ordered the dash 8 40C to enter the new last switch yard spur. When the train entered the spur the engine took out the tower, the Dash 8, the tower worker and the trees around the site. Dead

I can’t wait to see what the legal actions will want. Whistling

DougM , so glad to hear things went well. Yes

Good night
