Lionel Fan Driven smoke unit into a non Lionel locomotive

I got a lionel fan driven smoke unit I would like to install in a non Lionel locomotive.  Does anyone know the wire configuration in laymens terms or know where there is a diagram posted?

Lionel part number is 610-8057-200.

Here's a locomotive that uses that smoke unit, this is the pictorial diagram.  Here's the wiring diagram for that same locomotive.

Note that it appears that the smoke unit just receives the power directly from the TMCC board.  The output for smoke from the TMCC R2LC is 12 volts half-wave rectified (positive pulsed DC) for normal smoke, for smoke boost, it's full-wave AC at 12 volts.

With that information, you should be able to adapt it to your applicaton.
