I can't find a parts dealer with the 44-53...LAMP SOCKET COMPLETE

Anyone have one or know a parts dealer that does?

The socket is for the #44 Missile Launcher. Have not been able to locate it either.

Improvise. Smile  I'm sure you can find something that will work and do the job.

gunrunnerjohn,

Thank you for the update.

I thought of Jeff, because he usually has most parts.

You might try calling Chuck Sartor at Mizells trains in Denver. He has things others don't have.

I may have found a suitable replacement for you that you could adapt.  Part is 68-92 Lamp Socket Assembly for the 68 inspection car that takes the 2 pin bulb.  Don't know what you would have to do to wire it, but I did find it at www.smittystoytrainparts.com for $3.00.  It appears that it is the closest you can come to the actual part you need.  Good luck if it decide to order it, and if you can adapt it.
