LEHIGH VALLEY #8104 (ES44AC) has emerged at Altoona.

Reminds me of the C420s.

The Lehigh Valley Railroad, the Route of the Black Diamond Express, John Wilkes and Maple Leaf.

If the people at Lionel continue with the non-powered units like in Volume 1, it will be possible to buy less expensive O  Scale versions of the Heritage diesels, without having to have all of them powered in a train or by a roundhouse .

If one could buy all the RailKing NS SD70ACe and ES44AC diesels at Wholesale prices, then you might be soon owning a powered model of all units.  Still that might cost $4000 for all of them even at a reduced wholesale rate.

Maybe Lionel or MTH could recreate that photo but in model form. Build a model of the round house and then position their O gauge products just like they were in the picture. That would look nice on a catalog cover, wouldn't it?

Looks sort of like your typical O gauge roundhouse assortment!

laz - All of them will be making appearances at ENOLA to be sure.  I know that PRR, NICKLE PLATE, NYC, and S&A already have.  There may be a website or blog that already keeps tabs on their movements.  I only know what I know thru railpictures.net .

The ultimate in a duplicating me-to-me-to flood.  Can hardly wait until Williams get into the act & undercuts both. The retained value of each, with all the expect follow on rolling stock, will be what in 5 yrs? Crying
