B.&O. Wagon Top By Weaver?:

Hi, please, can anyone tell me how close to the real car are the Weaver Models B.&O. wagon top boxes?

Thank you,

Ralph

Comparing them to my resource books, they are pretty darn close.  I have #380170, in the oxide red, and it is a handsome piece, that tracks well (for a WEAVER) on my layout and through my LIONEL O-72/O-22 switches.  The numbers are correct.  They were the product at YORK last year.

Thank you firedog, I figured you would answer me.

That oxide red is a mighty purty color, that me thinks I would like to purchase it.

I bought the two C-16 cars and from the literature, I have, which shows and tells about them, the models are very close to the real things.

All of them are great looking scale model cars, which appear like miniature real cars.

Take care,

Ralph

Love the track schematics for the NY wharf.  Anyone looking for a warehouse yard should check out the trainweb thread.

Nice find, Ralph. YesYesYesYes  4 paws up.

I know you model the B.&O., amongst other local roads near you and when I found this B.&O. N.Y. Site, I had to send it to you.

Aside, from the B.&O. being in Mann., N.Y.C. on the west side, when I lived on the Lower East Side,
the B.&O. was also in Staten Island, a suburb of and in N.Y.C., where I also lived.

The B.&O. is another road dear to my heart, having lived in areas where the B.&O. traversed.

Did you see the big box happy cat, that's cute, unlike lousy graffiti and profane words.

Later,
