Unfortunately my tender fell and the shell is broken beyond repair. I know this is tough but does anyone have an original long stripe shell or tender that they want to sell?

Jay.........there is a long stripe 746W shell on ebay right now.  "Buy It Now" for $40.  It is a reproduction.  Seller has 5 of them.  Hope this helps.  If you want an original shell or complete tender, that might be a tough find.

There is also on ebay a complete 746W tender (6-29850) from the Lionel Celebration Series.  Just one, but it is the short stripe version.  Also "Buy It Now" for $79.95.

Jack

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.

Train Tender sells reproduction 746W shells for twenty dollars.
Generally, Ebay is not the place to buy parts. The prices are typically rather inflated.

Here is the link for train tender. Go to page 5. The part number is 746-TS.
Jeff, the owner is a great guy, he is very quick to answer questions, and ships very quickly too.
