Now to move my layout into its own building. 14X40. Removing walls and will be one big room with nothing but layout.

Very nice, building a layout in there should be fun & exciting.

Been working on a small O-27 layout that fits in the trunk of my car. I'm building it primarily to run vintage Marx tin trains that need the old Marx switches, but also to take to church occasionally to entertain the kiddies. Even some bigger, older kiddies like me.
A good spot for rail fanning as the big main line diesels pass through.
"Bill", nice layout. Good benchwork.
Handy, neat to get the kiddies involved.
As always great stuff guys. Here is a Lionel Pennsylvania Railroad 681 S-2 Turbine pulling a load of post war cars around the KMN&A Flat Line RR. Kev. watch?v=l5pZ0s5afUA&context=C3ca082bADOEgsToPDskIRXi7EAD2ZUQBYSvRPT5n

Here is a little quiz for this week's Sunday Photo Fun. The first photo is an overview of one corner of the Blueboard Central. How many modes of transportation can you find in the photo? I've posted individual photos of the different modes. See if you can find all of them.

My latest project.
I'm repainting a 1654T postwar tender into a 1689T prewar tender. It's hopefully going to match a 1688 torpedo in our collection and will allow me to pull my postwar cars instead of the three prewar cars we have (I like options).
So far it's in it's primer coat (no pictures of that). I still need to find the right paint color, but I think I have some leads.
Before
Most of the way through stripping (I let it bake in oven cleaner overnight to take the rest of the paint off after that picture was taken)
And the engine it's going to be mated with.
railfan23 - Is that an homage to Barry Levinson...?
I had not thought of it that way fifedog, but it works for me. Guess I need to add Boggie figure to the scene as well.
Enjoyed seeing everyone's efforts as always.
Northwoods: I counted two more modes of transportation; the truck and the cart - they both transport stuff.

Thank you all for posting your pictures this past week. 728 views of this thread say it all. Folks love to see your stuff!!!!!

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
Good Point runtime. Those are indeed types of transportation in the broader definition of the word. Thanks. So that actually makes 8 methods of transportation in that shot. As I was posting the photo I was reminded of this photo by O Winston Link. I was at an exhibit of his work where the same question was asked about this photo.
