hello all, as work progresses on the layout, i stop now and then to try out my powered blocks and switches. today,my kine kennecott copper mines handcar stalled several times on the turnouts. i realize, the pickup rollers are very close together on this handcar...and the turnouts will keep posing a problem, my idea is to build a trailer with an old roller pick-up truck set i have....then connect it to the handcar with 22 gauge wire in hopes the longer wheelbase/ pickup distance will keep it running smoothly over the turnouts. the trailer will aslo provide my at a later date to add an electronic reverse unit as posted on another page here. my question is ,does anyone know the proper disassembly sequence for this car??? or could you steer me to where i could find it? thanks...
Update on handcar disassembly....i got it after a bit of patient looking...and the trailer works great!
