I have to believe he's talking about an O27 42" diameter switch here.
I am curious how you got an 042 switch to work using Proto 2? An 042 is a manual switch.
You say "change them to AC". Isn't your track power AC, all my O-gauge stuff is AC.
if you can power your switches on their own without track power thats the way to do it.
Hello,
I started running Proto 2 locomotives with the command controller but I have only one Lionel 042 switch that will light and operate when the command controller is hooked up to it. The switches are on track power should I change them to AC power to get them to work.
Thanks,
Kevin
