Wow, this video is a MUST SEE.  Everything about it is a class act.

Demay

I thoroughly enjoyed the video; thanks for posting it.

Are these trains still available as originals on auction sites or as reproductions?

Joe

The original  French JEP trains can be found but there are no reproductions I am aware of.. I found the prewar steeplecab ( which was a basket case) on the U.K version of Ebay as I could not find a tinplate example made in the U.S I was happy with, and it was re-motored with a Marx unit.

Here is an example of a streamlined JEP steamer..Looks somewhat like a variation on a Marx CV.

There is" new" O scale tinplate based on European prototypes but they are very pricey to the extreme. Ace Trains and ETS  are perhaps the most reasonably priced .

Go to the Tinplate Times site and there is a listing of mom and pop type manufacturers, etc  with some fantastic models that cost $$$ as well in an article. Fun to look at.

The pricey ones...

Some of them have a real wow factor to them..

Great video, really like the street car zipping around. The music fits the video perfectly. Thanks for sharing.

I found this on another forum which must remain unnamed but you probably already know where that is..none the less, if you have not seen it I share it here with you..perhaps worth a gander..maybe a break from trouble shooting repair issues..
