New arrival for the Christmas layout
Posted by Wabashbud on Monday, December 26, 2011 6:32 AM

A new addition was added to the Christmas layout on Christmas day.  A Lionel box car decorated as "Our First Christmas".  The photo was taken in 1960 in front of our first tree in our school apartment at Western Michigan University.

Don't laugh, you were young once.

Wabashbud......I love that idea!  How did you get the photo on there?

Jack

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.

Jack:

I used Hobby Cal decal paper that I bought from a LHS in N. Carolina.  I also used Microsoft Word and printed the copy on to the decal paper.  Real simple.  The decal paper has a web site lsted as www.modeltrainsoftware.com.  Hope this helps.
