Dose anyone have a picture of the MTH Galloping Goose next to traditional Lional scale cars or engines they can post so I can get a feel of how they look?

I think you are correct!
Tks,
Kev, any specific questions about the MTH Galloping Goose ?
I have had mine since it was first released, seems like 8 or 9 years ago, and have had zero issues with it. The station stops are a kick to listen to, especially the one with cows.

I'll second that!!!!
Thanks Bill,
I was just wanting to see one with other trains to see how it scales. Think one is on my wish list but have never seen one so that is why I asked.

They are a crowd favorite at the museum when I take it in. People are really surprised to find out that they actually existed in the real world.

It looks great next to Lionel cars but I am having an issue with mine right now. The sounds and the lights work but I can not get it to move forward or reverse. I checked continuity to the motor and everything checks out. There are a series of PC boards and a set of wires that are difficult to follow. I want to try to fix it myself but I don't know where to start.
It could be "locked" in neutral. Check your manual, it gives you the instructions for doing a "Feature Reset". If it is nothing more serious it should function correctly afterwards.
If you know anybody that is using a MTH Z-4000 transformer the reset routine is much easier for PS-1 than having to fool around with throttle movements and bell/whistle/horn buttons.
Crabby44,
If what Doug suggest don't work you may want to open a new post for the question. A lot of guys may have seen this post aready and not come back to it.
Just a thought.
Good luck as I am interested in one of these I am also interested in any issues they may have.

Yeah they are neat,
I only found out about them when I was reading the America's Railroad guidbook for the Durango & Sliverton RR musem book by Robert T Royem
I tried the resetting procedure from the manual and it still seems to be stuck in neutral. It could be that my transformer is incompatible. I am using the MRC Dualpower 027. I then tried my trolley line that uses a Lionel TW and it is still stuck in neutral. I will try to mess with it some more.
