It sounds like you have a dead short some where.

Turn on your trans with nothing else on the track to see if it trips.
If it doesn't re-inspect the trucks, motors, & all electrical contacts.

If you had the shell off, make sure none of the wires broke, or are pinched between the shell and the frame. If you had the trucks completely off, make sure the pick-up wire isn't frayed or pinched to the frame some where. Hope this helps.

I just lubed up my 2343 and 2321 and now when I put them on the track I get no lights or power. The transformer(ZW) buzzes and then overloads. Other trains run. This was my first time lubing and cleaning wheels and rollers. I used an cleaner wax and dremel to clean wheels and rollers and the wiped them down with Lionel track cleaner. Help me I want to get them running:( Hope I didn't hurt them too much!
