Search feature
Posted by Gray Cat on Thursday, December 8, 2011 9:08 PM

I'm sure I'm missing something here.. but I can't seem to access the wealth of information on the forum section using the search feature? Everytime I try it I get pages of articles in magazines. Can someone tell me what if anything I'm doing wrong. When I'm on a search to answer a question or solve a problem it's just too time consuming to sit and look at page after page of post titles.. Geeked

Gray Cat,

Have you tried "Our Magazine" upper left of brown bar, just below the "Trains" red box?

That is some movie of trains, "Emperor of the North Pole."

Good Luck,

Ralph

There are two Search boxes on the R/H side of the page.  One is "Search This Site".  The other is "Search Our Community".  You should use "Search Our Community" to search for forum posts.

Hope this helps...

Earl is correct. I just tried Search our Community and found my posts going all the way back to 2003. I appreciate the non-expiring content feature of this forum versus others.

Thanks Guys, I don't know how I missed the search our community.. I guess I never scrolled down that far to look.

And yes Emperor of the North Pole is one heckuva movie. Hobo's are king! I had a nice copy of it on 16mm as well as the CD I have.
