A few shots of my most recent project.  I have finally accumulated enough cars to go with my restored S-scale Flyer PA1.

This is an American Models RPO kit I purchased on Ebay.  It was a full-length scale model from which I cut about 2 ½ inches off of one end of the car.  In order to have it match the shorter length of the Flyer equipment.

This is a reproduction of a Flyer Union Pacific coach number 24383.  It actually started life as a dinged up 961 stainless steel coach.  The latter is considerably less valuable to collectors than the former.  But, there are enough deviations in my repaint so that a savvy collector will be able to recognize right away that it’s a copy, not an original.

This is an American Models heavyweight coach that’s pretty much “off the shelf”.  I also rigged a tail marker on it, as it’s going to be the end of train.

All the cars get “working” rubber diaphragms from Scenery Unlimited. They are flexible enough that they don’t foul, even on the 20” radius curves of Flyer track.
Here’s the whole train:

Stebby,

Those cars look terrific, I especially like that warning light on the rear of the one car. That consist just looks well "rakish" or sleek..It would be great to see a video of it rolling along. I am a huge fan of Alco PA's and Flyer without a doubt in my mind, made the best PA in the postwar era. You probably know Doyle McCormmick is nearly finished with his restoration of his PA, which looks equally sleek in the Nickle Plate blue and white..that will also be something to see

WOW, has that 1937 UP City of Denver been restored, it looks terrific.

It was, but not in recent years. The motor was just rebuilt.

An inaugural run.

A early morning flag stop

A morning line up on the ready track

The windup meets his cousin, the electric

Waiting for the highball.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

These are for Joe,

Corner bracket:

Wall bracket:

Ceiling bracket:

Hope these help. To help make it quieter I glued downWoodland Scenics foam then hot glued the tubular track to the foam.

Thought I had more photos but this is all that is left.
