I haven't purchased the ITADs yet so I don't know the answer to this so here it goes...It sounds like you can't adjust the delay time of the ITADs to 0 (zero). Is that correct?
Because if you could then the gates/signals would stop immediately after the train departs the second ITAD, right?
I will be extemely interested in how you resolve the issue. I have had the same problem and I bought a second one thinking the same thing. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I could get them to activiate when a train passes the first one, and then would activate the second when it passed it. So the train would be long gone before they would shut off. The next step would to buy two more of them to turn off when the train passed it. So I finally decided to do the isolated rail, and have never regretted it. Now, I am trying to come up with an idea for some other application, still working on that.

Hello,
I haven't seen a good solution (yet) to this problem. I have a similar issue. I received the MTH Highway Crossing Signals for CHRISTmas. I too have a 2-track crossing with trains being able to come from both directions on either tracks.
Is it possible to operate the Crossing Signals with two ITAD's? One could be positioned to pick up the train(s) coming from the east side and one to pick up the train(s) coming from the west.
I realize that isolation blocks would probably be better suited for this service. However, with my layout I would have to do a lot of demolition to put them in. Moreover, the way my turn-outs are located it would be difficult to install an isolation block.
If anyone could help me it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
