befor trying as a lash up I would set them about a foot apart from each other and give power to your track and see if one is faster than the other. If I'm thinking correctly only 2 of them are powered anyway. The middle one I think is non-power unit

Operating Wabash GP-9 in lashup
Posted by upsbrn on Sunday, November 13, 2011 11:03 PM

Recently purchased a set of Wabash engines, which we believe are GP-9 model, they are numbered 453, 454, and 455.  They were purchased without instructions.  In researching how to run in a lashup we've found instructions for Train Master Command Controlled features of setting up and seperating the lashup of all three engines.

Question - is it possible/advisable to run a lashup without using TMCC, and just the ZW transformer to manually align the engines in the same direction?   What is the best approach for this so the engines are in sync and do not damage the engines?

Thanks,

upsbrn
