I had a problem trying to get the relay to close, made adjustments to contact points on bottom of relay. Puzzled me for a while then I noticed that the relay is screwed to the box of the whistle chamber which is plastic.It does not have that metal bracket like it shows in the diagram I got. I was not getting a ground!!So I connected a wire to the mounting screw on top of the relay and to the metal frame, now that whistle blows when I use the button on the transformer!!

My tender has no numbers on it. The whistle looks to be a WS-125, it goes with my 2037 Locomotive. Thanks for the comment on my avatar, that is my 57' Chevy I've owned for 41 yrs. Pic was taken in Sedona Az.

Ah needs sum info on konecktin' them wyers on mah Lionel postwar whistlin' tender.I got this tender used an them thar wyers is broken or missing, so I need a complete diagram showing how them thar' wyers R' koneckted! Thank ye fer any info.
