blah..i put power to the light part and got nothing..sigh..i guess i have t get a light bulb :( then go from there

It is Marx.  Two wires for the light, two wires for the solenoid at the bottom of the pole.  The solenoid pulls up an iron slug attached to the wire the operates the spectacle, moving it from green to red.  There is no intermediate (yellow) position.

I have rigged one of these up to be run by a Tortoise stall-motor under the table.  By some trickery, I got it to display all three aspects.

does anyone know the manufacturer of this semaphore...also when it was made and how to hook it up  i have 4 wires coming out of it..
