Original Williams BL-2 Scraping sound
Posted by RRaddict on Sunday, October 30, 2011 11:23 AM

Hello,

I just got a new Williams BL-2 original old stock.  I ran it for the first and it makes a sort of scraping sound. I checked to see if it had any paper or packing material in the way of anything but it did not. Has any had any experience with this.

Thanks,

Kevin

Kevin,

I'm not sure of what's causing the scraping sound.

Is the sound coming from inside, or outside of  the body?

If, the sound is coming from inside, take off the body shell and run the engine slowly, to determind where the sound is coming from.

Maybe, a part is against the motor and can easily be remedied.

Also, does the scraping seem to impair the engines performance.

Hopefully, your problem will be easily solved.

Kevin,

I'm glad to read that your engine is up and running, as designed.

What was wrong?

Ralph
