have you tried a reset I had a southern pacfic that I had to do resets to get sound every so often don't know why but I had to.

I do have the manual, but went to Lionel's online version anyway, just in case.  The only mention I can find of Dynachuff in the TMCC pages are that it is automatic with varying soud based on throttle control.  I still need more help....

I would start with the 24 page "Owners Manual".

If you don't have one, go to the LIONEL web page www.lionel.com , click on CUSTOMER SERVICES, click on RESOURCES, click on OWNERS MANUALS.    Check the box Instruction Manuals, enter 6-28034 and click SEARCH.   Your engine name and number should appear at the bottom of the page, click on it and you will have the whole manual to print.

It states "Dynachuff" is part of TMCC operation.

Just picked up a next to new TMCC Pacific 4-6-2 and all the Railsound functions work except the Dynachuff sound work fine.  I can not find a reference as to how to turn on Dynachuff or see anything on the unit that would indicate a loose wire or other issue.   Looking for answers.
