As, an operator, my wife tells me to first read the instructions!

100% of the time she is correct!

Good to read that all is well,

Problem solved. Was not with FasTrack, with which we've had good success, nor with K-Line, whose products we miss. Were very innovative (still enjoy products such as scale-like Gateman w/lantern). Miss them. Milk car problem was with operator! No surprise there. Thanks, Ralph, and others for taking a look.

jdex,

I had an operating car that did not function properly with Lionel's FasTrack, but it did operate like a CHARM with a Lionel older operating track.

Another thing, unless Lionel remedied the problem, the first Lionel FasTrack I bought malfunctioned immediately, I f not than sooner!!!!!!!!!!
When, I took it back to my local hobby shop, where purchased, the repair person told me that FasTrack had a lot of problems, that was about three years ago.

Maybe, there's a problem with either unit, both, or they're incompatible, but they should be compatible?

This link might help:

Good Luck,

Operating milk car

Just purchased K-Line K703-1751 operating milk car with moving conveyor inside. Instructions indicate it will operate with any uncoupler track. We use fasTrack and have unload/uncouple section along with several uncouple sections. Car only hums faintly when activated. Does not operate. We do not use command control. Eventually pairing with loading dock. Any suggestions re car operation?
