I use both Ross & GG with lionel tubular.  Both are fine.  The Ross is a better product, and more expensive. They also offer more variety in radius and other options.  Both mfgrs offer pre-fitted z-stuff switches or you can get them without any switch.

On my conventional main line I use Ross 054 switches with 027 track, no problems, A-OK.

On my two DCS main lines I have both Ross and Gargraves switches with Gargraves track and no problems there also.

Is anyone using the Ross switches with Lionel 0-27 tubular track? If so how do you like them?
