Here is the A-B-B-A all together
Starting on the left is the First Lionel I got it missing pieces out of the nose that nobody seems to have and Lionel never made as separate sale I figure someone has a broke shell that has them in it somewhere lol. 2nd unit is a Williams PB-1 that I added tmcc to so I could have coil couplers and lights may add sound to it it the future not sure. the third unit is a Lionel PB-1 which someone painted the trucks and the fuel tank black ( I personally like it better then the silver probably will paint the first A to match the last A in the future) and the last A also trucks and fuel tank been repainted is the A I got in to make my A-B-B-A set. was also suppose to get a RPO and a Combo in I thought yesterday but mail man didn't have them so I guess Monday as they are now here in Columbia.

Thanks for all of the postings today so far folks.
The old guys down at the coffee shop gave me a heads up earlier this week. There was a "special" scheduled to come through town this weekend. It seems that some high muckety muck from one of the railroads back east heard about the great fishing and weather here in the North Woods of Wisconsin. Apparently they set up an excursion run for railroad executives and their families to come up to fish and pick blueberries and just enjoy the wholesome atmosphere.
I positioned myself with my Kodak Brownie to catch some photos of the "Lionel Lines Special" as it came through town on Friday on its way to Star Lake. It was a very impressive train.
I managed to catch the "Lionel Lines Special" at several of its stops.

Thanks Dennis,
I may be a "dyed in the wool" Flyer guy, but there are some things produced by other manufacturers that are just too beautiful to resist. The engine is a gun metal grey Lionel 229. The coaches are #2642 and the observation is #2643. I looked for quite a while before I found a set in this condition. I really like the 2600 series of passenger cars. I also have a set in green, and a set in blue. They are being pulled by a 224E in the photo below.
While I have tried to limit my collecting to American Flyer, as you can see I haven't always been successful. Enjoying the World's Greatest Hobby Northwoods Flyer Greg
Is there a "trick" to posting photos??
You need to post your photos to a photo web site first. I use Photobucket which is a free service, there are others. From Photobucket or any other service you then can transfer the photos to the CTT forum or other forums.
