Polar Express Question

Hi Friends:

Here's a question for those of you with the regular (not scale) PE set.

I want to buy the set, but can only afford one additional sound car right now, so I think that will be the conductor car.  I was thinking i could run the set using my New York Central railsounds tender for a while.

My question is about the coupler:  the NYC tender has a round hole coupler where the post from the engine side fits into it.  Is that what the PE engine has? a round hole/post?

The drawbar on the P.E. Berkshire is flat, maybe about 1/8" wide.  If the hole in the NYC tender's drawbar is about that size, it should work OK.
