I have the #470 missile launcher platform and a 6650 missile launcher flatcar. Neither missile launcher works very good. One of the launchers takes forever to fire and the other launcher will not click in the down position to hold the launcher in place before the release button is pressed. Are there any adjustments that can be made to correct either problem?

Yep. The one that doesn't fire the small link that hangs down to the frame needs adjustment. The spring for the piston that pushes up the launcher may be weak, you can buy those parts from local parts houses.
The other one may be missing a spring, I had one like that. The trigger lever spring was missing, so I would never latch.
Since both of them use the same missile firing mechanism, carefully look at one to see why the other one doesn't function in a specific fashion.
