sprocket chain for No. 97 Lionel caol elvator
Posted by San Jose on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 1:26 PM

Hi Lionel users:

I bought a No. 97 coal elevator and unbeknownst to me, the chain is too tight, too much of a load for the motor.  It seems that it's short one sprocket.

Any thoughts about how to fix this without  having to buy a new chain/bucket part?

Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

Try calling Chuck Sartor at Mizells trains in Denver.
