I bought a 500' roll of paired strand 16 gauge wire, colored red and black in a grey sheath that looks identical to what OGR is selling. Found it at a Home Depot (not all of them have this as I'd looked before), for 59.98. Using this for track power.

Also bought a 250' roll of 5 wire, 18 gauge in a white sheath for around 40.00, to use for powering accessories and switches. They have this stuff in a lesser number of included wires if 5 are not needed. I have a few accessories that use 5 wires.

Both are nice and pliable, easy to work with.

Most large hobby shops & mail order parts dealers carry 2,3,4,&5 conductor ribbon cable.

OR

You can go to a home center or electrical supply house and buy any #16 and/or #14awg wire or lamp cord. You can also use 3 or 5 wire thermo stat wire.
And yes Belden does make a 2,3,&4 conductor cable.

What ever you use keep in mind of the wire gauge (awg) per app.
#18 for switch drops & signals,
#16 for acc. drops & home runs & sw home runs,
#14 for track drops,
#12 (or 14) for track feeders & home runs.

I purchases some of the wire sold by OGR and was wondering if anyone knows what the commerical equivalent is in one of the major wire and cable companies - Like Beldon.

Thanks
