Wait, is it too late to post my recent overhaul and repaint of my 1684?
Never to late to post train photos, and your steamer project looks great.

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
Great variety of pictures this past week. O Gauge, Standard Gauge, real trains, Tin Plate Marx, scenes from down town, this thread had it all.
Very nice cross-section of pics to enjoy this weekend. Thanks to all.
Demay - Model railroading is pretty huge in Japan, and you will probably find some interesting space-saving layouts for inspiration.
Bill, they were a very special generation. Joe, will pray for a smooth move to your next duty station. Please keep up with the forum and let us know where and how you are.

Great stuff guys - thanks for sharing!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
I took some night shots of the layout this evening. Consequently, these will be the last photos I take of this layout. The Air Force has decided it's time for us to move so it will have to be dismantled. That's the way it goes, but I am looking forward to building a shelf layout at our next location (that's all we'll have room for).

Lovers out for a stroll.
The lines are busy tonight.
Some busy freight workers.
Batman is in to see the Commissioner.
A late night for this office worker; the PRR passenger train is still at the station.
A quick look down Main street as we get ready to cross the tracks.
I think he was in with Merrill's Marauders, but I had met a bunch of WWII heroes that day and not sure.
Dennis, my Dad captured that flag during the invasion of Guadalcanal. He was with MacArthurs Expeditionary Forces.
The weekend was fun in Maine...

Bill, two weeks ago, we were in Las Vegas at Pawn Stars. They had a framed Jap flag like yours for sale. Don't know what they wanted for it, but given the items in that place, I am sure it wasn't cheap. I have also seen one at Fort Benning. The Ranger Training Bgd. Building has one, I actually met one of the guys who got the flag. He also has a CMOH. He was an American of Japanese decent and in the US Army. Used his language skills to get behind the Jap lines and order their troops to "Charge"...right into a waiting American Ambush! I think he was in with Merrill's Marauders, but I had met a bunch of WWII heroes that day and not sure.
Spanky, I really enjoy the standard gauge shots! Even though I don't have any, I like the way they look. Thanks to you and all the posters here.

Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to take or post videos yet .. Which Flyer are you referring too?

Northwoods,
Do you have any videos of the Flyer? Apologies if they were posted and I missed them ( if they exist) ,,
Great photos everyone. Thanks for posting. I particularly like seeing the Standard Gauge running spankybird. Thanks for posting the video.
Its the first Sunday of the summer, and here on the Blueboard Central Division of American Flyer Lines it is a gorgeous day. I grabbed my trusty Kodak Brownie and took a few shots around downtown.
The OTTS meeting was at Andrew's layout and we played with his Standard Gauge layout.
And here it is in ACTION - Video
