How could I have missed that? It's there, big as life, and I didn't see it. Well, maybe my post will help someone else.

Now if only that response addressed the question, Realtrax is not tubular track.
Thank you but I forgot to mention it is MTH Realtrax. I need to also know how to hook up devices such as Semaphores, Block Signals, and crossing gates. I'm new here what can I say.
Can't stop working on the railroad!
To make a section from tubular track, pry up the metal tabs that hold one of the outside rails to each of the ties. You don't need to pry both of them to vertical to get the rail out--one can stay at about 45 degrees. Wrap a square of thin cardboard, about the thickness of a business card, around the rail at each tie. I cut mine from a pair of black pressboard report covers--it's a lifetime supply. Replace the rail and crimp the tabs back into place. I use a screwdriver to push them down. I support the tie directly under the rail by resting it on a lump of metal like a 1/4-20 nut that is thicker but narrower than the tie, to avoid deforming the tie from the pressure.
How you connect to it depends on the accessory. What have you got?
If anyone has detailed information how to make an insulated track section out of MTH Realtrax and connect Post War accessories to it I would appreciate the help. I have several sections that I purchased but would like more. Any help would be great.
