The Railsounds kit will install with our without TMCC.  Without TMCC, you'll be limited to getting prime mover sounds and horn/bell.

contact boxcar bill his web site is http://mttponline.com/ he has an email and phone number on there i believe. He will tell you what you need and how to install it. its not hard but I went from conventional to TMCC so I did away with there electronic e-unit so not sure if you can hook up just the train sounds or not. Guess you can.

Newbie? Adding Rail Sounds to a Williams F7
Posted by RRaddict on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 12:21 PM

I am really new to model railroading and need some help.  I bought a Williams Burlington AA set and knew nothing about the thing called Railsounds.  I do now and I want to order the install kit and want to know how complex the procedure is and where I can go for guidance? Any advice would be great and please have mercy on the newbie.
