They will be fine.

There are just a few Lionel O-27 locos(like the 1654 type) and several Flyer "O" locos that will bounce over the guard rails of Fastrack switches.

If you mean contact shoes of the type used to operate Lionel electromagnetic couplers (and later, operating cars), I can only tell you that they have no trouble with my FasTrack manual switches.  I don't have any remote FasTrack switches, so I can't advise you on those.

Will pre-war cars with their contact shoes run over fastrac switches without de-railing? I have never tried it so I don't know.
