Here is the basic circuit idea that I use to operate 2 trains on one track.  This circuit will automatically stop the faster train if it approaches to close to the slower one.

New video of my Lionel Postwar Layout...now in HD

Here is a somewhat clearer and sharper video of my 5' x 9' Lionel Postwar Layout.   There are four engines operating on 2 mainlines plus a trolley line.

Engines include:

627 LV 44 tonner (red)

205 Missouri Pacific Alco A-A (blue)

520 Lionel Lines Boxcab (red)

610 Erie EMD NW2 (black)

Operating cars include:

3424 Operating Wabash Brakeman

3357 Operating Hydraulic Maintenance Cop & Hobo (and other more modern variations)

3376 Operating Bronx Zoo Giraffe (and other more modern variations)

3520 Operating Rotating Spotlight

60 Lionelville Rapid Transit (yellow)

Be sure to select 720pHD from the list for the best quality.   To keep the video from stuttering on my slow DSL line, I first open the video I wish to view and then wait several minutes for it to preload the video file.  Then I view the video from the beginning.
