I have not had this problem but you might want to try a flat head screw.

If that don't work or you can't find one, do as Roger says and remove the screw.
But instead of glue you can use a product that Woodland Scenics has for mounting people. I forget the name but it is like the stuff stuck on credit cards & other mailings where it is sticky but easily removed.

I had this problem on a curved switch with the ladder of an E unit catching, I took the screw out and used a dab of glue to hold the DZ.

Is anyone having a problem with the new Lionel crane car clearing the screw head and the switch mechanism on Ross switches? The center of the car hits the going past the screw. Is the a sollution to fix this?
