My phone is now working
Posted by DennisB-1 on Thursday, May 26, 2011 7:14 AM

Yesterday, the speaker on my phone quit working.

I found my old phone, moved the SIM card and I'm back in business!

Yesterday, the speaker on my phone quit working. You can hear me but I can't hear anything, including the ring. A new phone is being shipped but in the meantime, you can contact me via email: dennis@brennansmodelrr.com If you've left a voice mail, I'll respond as soon as I get my new phone.

I must be getting senile. There are so many repair questions here including my own I thought at first when I read the title, you wanted help fixing your phone. like RE: My Dishwasher is Broken.

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.

We should also find out how the phone is operated, conventional or program.  My guess is that he's using a CW-80.

If wasn't repairable without jumping through hoops, and he bought a new one, my guess is it was programmable.
