The image was shot from a Lionel catalog, not an actual "real" transformer.

The image included on page 22 in the Q&A section of the May’s CCT is a little different from TW’s that I have seen. The hookup posts / voltage look right on. But the image of Lionel’s TW looks off for two reasons:
1) the light between the dials is red not green
2) the left controller looks as though it is a speed controller as is the one on the right. My TW’s have the left to control the direction / whistle.
Is the CCT image another variation of the TW? I know that there are some variants in the number of binding posts
